Life Project

I want to write a text that will examine the gender construction of European folk societies, a construction marked by extreme fluidity and overtly performative identity in both before the institution of Christianity as well as the contemporary world. In so doing I’d like to develop a way in which the historical subversion of the Church enforced Gender Binary (ie power binary) could be used to disrupt the contemporary gender construct.
